"This patented wonder of the telephony industry should be the size of a shoebox, but was purposely miniaturized, at great expense, to unobtrusively serve debtors in the privacy of their home. Containing over 100 electronic components, one single module, plugged into ANY phone jack in the home, will serve ALL the phones at that number, even cordless. The DAAN Module contains all of the components of a touch-tone phone plus a slew of electronics that allow it to deliver its pre-programmed message whether or not the debtor remains on the line. With the simple push of the star key on whatever home phone the debtor may be on, a legally correct message is delivered to the caller. The collector (or creditor as the case may be), is given our call center number where will either:
- Remind the caller that we are monitoring collection call activity and advise the caller not to call the debtor again before terminating the call, OR
- Remind the caller that we are monitoring collection call activity and advise the caller not to call the debtor again. We can then give the caller the Creditor Relations / Negotiations phone number of the Debt Relief firm that is representing the debtor, OR
- Deliver the message of your choice...
All of this is done without the debtor saying a word or even remaining on the line. Additional features of the DAAN Module include an auto reset feature, in case of accidental activation; an internal methodology to power itself thereby eliminating the need for batteries or those clumsy low volt plugs; a built-in surge protector and additional female receptacle for installing the Module in single jack homes. Finally, the DAAN Module was designed to plug into any VACANT or occupied jack in the home so the unit can be installed in a remote bedroom, even if there is no phone plugged into it, and it will provide the same great service to ALL the phones in the home without causing suspicion by guests or unsuspecting family members."
