DAANTM Module Authorization and Operating Instructions

Your representative has authorized your temporary use of the DAAN in-home module. Return the Module to your attorney or debt resolution counselor as instructed. ANY UNAUTHORIZED USE (for example, using the Module at a phone number other than at your home) MAY VIOLATE STATE AND / OR FEDERAL LAW.

Installation TYPES:
Type 1. Vacant Phone Jack: Simply plug the module into any phone jack in your home. Installation completed!

Type 2. Phone Jack with Phone Plugged in: Unplug the phone line from the phone jack and plug the phone line into the bottom of the DAAN Module. Then, plug the Module back into the phone jack. Done!

Type 3: Homes with two (2) phone numbers in one phone jack. This requires a "line splitter" ($3-$4 at Wal-Mart, K-Mart, etc.) to be plugged into the phone jack first. The splitter divides the single phone jack into two (2) phone lines. pick the line you are receiving collection calls on and plug the Module into it, then plug your phone into the Module. Done! NOTE: If you are getting collection calls on both lines, you will need two (2) DAAN Modules.

For ALL Phones: Make sure your Touch-Tone phones are set to "Tone" or "T" and NOT "Pulse" or "P". If you press any key on your phone and hear a "tone" and not a "click", the phone is set correctly.

Verify:
The module only works on INCOMING calls, not outgoing. To see if your module is
working properly, call your home phone number from a cell phone or have someone (who knows you
you are in debt resolution) call. Let the phone ring a few times then answer your home phone and press the star
(*) key but don't hang up. Listen; the module's message will play within 1 second and terminate about 30 seconds thereafter. If you do not hear the message, call your attorney for a prompt replacement.

Use: When you receive a call from a creditor or collector, simply press the star (*) key on
whatever phone you may be on, even cordless, and hang up. The module will take over and deliver
instructions on how to contact your representative and advise callers not to call back.

Additional Features:
*If you accidentally touch the star key and activate the module, pressing the star key again will shut it off 
  and reset the message for the next time it is needed.
*The module will not interfere with computers, answering or fax machines.
*There are NO phone company charge for using the module NOR does it require batteries.
*If you have any trouble with your unit, please call your representative for a prompt replacement unit.

PLEASE NOTE: If you recognize the caller or calling company,  make a note of the date and time you activated the module as a result of their call.

Return this module to your attorney or debt reolution counselor as instructed.
